Mr. Pletcher directs the firm’s alternative workforce strategies section, which offers counsel to professional employer organizations and advice on driver leasing.
Steven A. Pletcher, a partner in the firm, serves as itsprincipal advisor on alternative workforce strategies for motor carriers and non-motor carriers alike. He also counsels clients on employee benefits issues relating to ERISA, the Multiemployer Pension Plan Act, and various state laws. He is a frequent speaker at conferences sponsored by the National Association of Professional Employer Organizations (NAPEO) and the Midwest Association of Professional Employer Organizations (MAPEO) and has authored numerous articles on the professional employer organizations industry.
Mr. Pletcher graduated from Indiana University – South Bend (B.S.) and the Valparaiso University School of Law (J.D., magna cum laude).
Admitted to the Indiana bar in 1991, Mr. Pletcher is admitted to practice before all Indiana state and federal courts. He is a member of the Indianapolis, Indiana State and American Bar Associations, as well as NAPEO, MAPEO, and the Indiana Motor Truck Association Safety Council.
