

Mr. Scopelitis mediates complex civil disputes and provides counsel on domestic relations and estate planning matters.

Alki E. Scopelitis, co-founder of Scopelitis, Garvin, Light, Hanson & Feary has had extensive experience representing motor carriers throughout the United States in a variety of matters, including state and federal regulatory issues and employment and labor law issues. Mr. Scopelitis anticipated the deregulation of motor carrier transportation and helped guide the firm into counseling carriers in all aspects of their business. He is a certified mediator and now devotes his practice to litigation, mediating civil and family disputes and family law matters, and estate planning.

Mr. Scopelitis graduated from Yale University (B.A.) and Georgetown University School of Law (J.D.).

Admitted to the Indiana bar in 1964, Mr. Scopelitis is licensed to practice before all Indiana state and federal courts. He belongs to numerous professional associations and teaches trial practice skills as a faculty member of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy.
