

Ms. Cohen primarily practices in the areas of transportation law and government affairs.

Shannon McClellan Cohen's diverse practice serves motor carriers on a variety of transportation law topics. A regular participant in the firm's defense of major trucking companies in nationwide owner-operator class actions, Ms. Cohen also assists transportation companies with commercial litigation. In addition, she is involved in advising clients on owner-operator lease transactions, regulatory requirements for air freight forwarders, and transportation contracts. Finally, Ms. Cohen monitors developing statutory and regulatory law for initiatives affecting the transportation industry.

Ms. Cohen graduated from Indiana University (B.S) and the Indiana University School of Law – Bloomington (J.D. cum laude), where she served on the board of the Indiana Journal of Global Legal Studies.

Admitted to the Indiana bar in 2002, Ms. Cohen is licensed to practice before all Indiana state and federal courts. She is a member of the Indianapolis, Indiana State, and American Bar Associations.
