Mr. Ostendorf practices primarily in the areas of business and commercial law, with an emphasis on business financing, transactions, bankruptcy, and reorganization.
Gregory A. Ostendorf has experience in a wide range of business and financial transactions and the bankruptcy practice area. Mr. Ostendorf joined the Scopelitis firm in December 2004, after spending eight years as General Counsel and an executive officer of Braun Consulting, Inc., a publicly-traded IT and business consulting firm headquartered in Chicago. Prior to joining Braun Consulting in 1996, he was a partner in the Houston law firm of Cage Hill & Niehaus, L.L.P.
Mr. Ostendorf graduated from Western Kentucky University (B.S.) and Indiana University School of Law (J.D.)
Admitted to the bars of Texas (1980), Illinois (1996) and Indiana (2005), Mr. Ostendorf is licensed to practice in state and federal courts in each of those venues. He is a member of the Indianapolis and Indiana Bar Associations, Houston Bar Association and the Transportation Lawyers Association.
